1898. American Forces are converging on the city of Santiago de Cuba in an effort to bring a victorious conclusion to the Spanish-American War. The terrain is brutal and disease and lack of supplies could force a retreat. A swift attack is needed. The Spanish are ready, though, with prepared positions with cannons, entrenchments, and blockhouses to repel the upstart Americans.
Siege of Santiago is a low-to-moderate complex game covering the American attempt to end the Spanish-American War in 1898. The game takes about 90 minutes to play. One player commands the American forces and the other player commands the Spanish forces. Cards vary game play.
