Dive Bombing for the Luftwaffe, 1939 to 1945
The siren was the point. A Ju 87 in a dive announced itself before it released anything, and for two years that was enough to break a column on the road. Then the fighters got faster, and the Stuka kept flying anyway. The cockpit is yours, from Poland in 1939 through France, the Mediterranean and the long grind on the Eastern Front.
Fly the Mission
Pick your load before you go up, bombs for the bunkers and the bridges or cannon for the tanks. Then the cards run the mission. You draw for the altitude you reach, for what the target turns out to be, for what the flak does and which fighters find you, so no two runs at the same objective come out the same. Close air support one sortie, a convoy under naval flak the next, a bridge the day after that, and weather and mechanical failure decide as much of your day as the enemy does.
Your Pilot's Career
Your pilot carries everything forward. Kills, awards and promotions accumulate, and so do the injuries and the fatigue, and being shot down does not always end with you walking back to your own lines.
Fly the War That Never Happened
The what if missions put Stukas over China in 1937, armed and supplied by Germany, and on the deck of the Graf Zeppelin, the carrier Germany laid down and never finished.
