The Battle of Vienna is a low to moderate complexity tactical game set during the 17th century. It pits the Ottoman Empire against a joint army of Polish, Austrian, and German soldiers. The stage is set...

Vienna, 1683. The Ottoman Turks have led an enormous army north to add Austria to its empire with its capital of Vienna, which controls the rich Danube River trade. The defenders have valiantly held out and are close to collapse. But, a joint Polish, Austrian, and German relief army is on the way. The Turks are prepared to crush these fools who dare challenge them.

The game takes about 90 minutes to play. One player commands the Allied forces of Austrian, German, and Polish troops, and the other player commands the Turkish forces besieging Vienna. Cards vary game play.
