In House of Spirits, players explore a haunted house together, room by room. Along the way they will draw cards representing weapons and other items to help them survive the various beasts they discover. Each player gets one action per turn, so he has to balance long-term strategy against short-term gains. Do you risk fighting that werewolf, hoping to claim points at the risk of precious health, or leave it for someone else to deal with?
The ultimate goal of the game is to rack up the most points through investigation and monster slaying. There are numerous ways to do this depending on player strategy, as well as a dash of luck.
