The map
The map, with a 3 kms per hex scale, covers a zone of operations from Compiègne to Reims, with Paris, the ultimate objective, in the left lower corner. It is the work of Thomas Pouchin, a highly qualified map drawer. It was drawn from 2 atlas of the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century and also from a German headquarters map.
